It is the policy of Sefton Support Group to:
- Maintain safe and healthy conditions for staff, volunteers, and others who use our service.
Sefton Support Group Will:
- Provide adequate control of health and safety risks arising from our work activities.
- Consult with staff and volunteers on matters affecting health and safety.
- Provide and maintain safe equipment.
- Ensure safe handling.
- Provide information and instruction for volunteers and ensure that all volunteers receive adequate training to maintain a high level of health and safety within our organisation.
Additionally, Sefton Support Group Will:
- Ensure that it regularly identifies and records risks.
- Where appropriate, ensure that action is taken to reduce risks.
Awareness of Health & Safety Information
Sefton Support Group will ensure that everyone who uses the services (staff, volunteers, or members of the public) is aware of the following:
- The location of Health and Safety information, including fire procedures.
- Who is responsible for managing and implementing the policies.
- The location of first aid provision.
