STEMCELLSCOUSERS held a fantastic fundraising event on Sunday 21st June at The Grapes Hotel in Formby, bringing the local community together for a day of music, family fun, stalls and support for an important cause.
The weather was kind, the turnout was brilliant, and the atmosphere throughout the day was warm, friendly and full of community spirit.
There was plenty happening for families and visitors to enjoy, including live music from local ukulele band UKE3A, face painting, a tombola, and a range of stalls from local craft people selling handmade items, cosmetics and gifts.
The local fire brigade also came along with a fire engine, giving children, and plenty of adults too, the chance to get a closer look. The ambulance service also attended with an ambulance, which proved another popular part of the day for visitors of all ages.
The Grapes Hotel supported the event by providing the space, free tea and coffee, along with a special menu for the day, helping make the event even more welcoming for everyone who came along.
It was a really successful day, with a great turnout and lots of people coming together to support STEMCELLSCOUSERS and help raise awareness of their important work.
A huge well done to STEMCELLSCOUSERS, The Grapes Hotel, everyone who helped organise the day, and all those who came along to show their support.
