We welcomed Conal Devitt, our local Social Prescriber, for a brilliant Community Wellbeing Session. It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout, including several new faces — a clear sign that word is spreading about the value of these monthly sessions.
Conal shared how social prescribing is all about connecting people with local support, services, and activities to improve wellbeing. From helping someone find a community group to offering a friendly chat about mental health or loneliness, his approach is rooted in kindness, understanding, and local knowledge. The session sparked great conversations and gave attendees a clearer picture of what help is available in Sefton — and how to access it.
