We were delighted to have Lou, Kevin, Mary, May and Anne attend Sefton’s Volunteer Celebration Event recently, representing Sefton Support Group and the incredible contribution our volunteers make to the local community.
The event, organised by Volunteer Centre Sefton, was held as part of Volunteers’ Week and brought together volunteers from across the borough to recognise the time, care and dedication they give to helping others.
Our volunteers are at the heart of Sefton Support Group. Whether they are welcoming members, offering a listening ear, helping with activities, supporting the centre, or simply creating a warm and friendly atmosphere, their contribution makes a real difference every week.
It was lovely to see Lou, Kevin, Mary, May and Ann recognised with certificates, standing proudly alongside many other dedicated volunteers from across Sefton.
We are incredibly grateful to all our volunteers, not only those who attended the event, but everyone who gives their time, energy and kindness to support Sefton Support Group and the people who come through our doors.
A huge thank you to Volunteer Centre Sefton and Sefton CVS for organising such a meaningful celebration and for continuing to shine a light on the value of volunteering across the borough.
Well done Lou, Kevin, Mary, May and Anne — and thank you for everything you do.
