Join us on Friday, 29th August 2025, for our next Community Wellbeing Session as we welcome Conal Devitt, your local Social Prescriber. Conal will be sharing how social prescribing can help you improve your health and wellbeing by connecting you to local support, services, and activities that matter to you.
About Social Prescribers
Social Prescribers are here to support adults across Sefton who may be feeling isolated, struggling with their wellbeing, or simply looking to get more involved locally. Whether it’s finding a walking group, accessing mental health services, or just having a friendly chat about what’s out there — Social Prescribers help people take small steps towards a more connected and confident life.
What Will Be Covered?
During the session, Conal will explain the role of a Social Prescriber and share how he’s helped local people improve their quality of life by linking them to the right opportunities. Topics will include:
- How social prescribing works and who it’s for
- Ways to improve mental and physical wellbeing through community activity
- Finding the right local groups, services, and support for your needs
- How to self-refer or refer someone else
Expect real examples, friendly advice, and lots of information about how to get started.
