Community Wellbeing Session

We were pleased to welcome Carolyn McConnell, Chief Executive Officer of Mencap Liverpool & Sefton, as our guest speaker for our May Community Wellbeing Session.
Carolyn led an insightful discussion exploring the challenges faced by people with a learning disability, how perceptions have changed over time, and the ongoing work being done to break down barriers. She also shared inspiring stories and updates from the Mencap Community Cottage — a place of support, opportunity, and community connection.
Although school holidays meant a smaller group joined us in person, the session was incredibly valuable and well received by those who attended.
