We’re pleased to announce that our next Community Wellbeing Session will take place on Friday, 28th February 2025, at our centre in Formby. This month, we are delighted to welcome Southport & West Lancashire Prostate Cancer Support Group as our guest speakers.
About the Session
Prostate health is an important topic that affects many people, yet it’s often not spoken about enough. This session will provide vital information about prostate health, awareness, and support, helping to inform and empower attendees in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
What Will Be Covered?
The session will follow the “Knowing Me… Knowing You” approach, combining expert knowledge with open discussion to help raise awareness and understanding of prostate health.
- Knowing Me – A look at prostate health, its role in the body, and key information on recognising potential concerns.
- Knowing You – Encouraging attendees to reflect on their awareness and understanding of prostate health in a supportive and informative space.
The session will be informative yet informal, providing an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and engage in open conversation without pressure to share personal details.
