Community Wellbeing Session: Southport Samaritans – 24th April 2026
Join us on Friday, 24th April 2026, for our next Community Wellbeing Session as we welcome representatives from Southport Samaritans. This session will focus on the vital work Samaritans do in supporting people who may be struggling, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need someone to listen.
Samaritans provide a safe, non-judgemental space where people can talk openly about whatever is on their mind. Their volunteers offer emotional support to anyone who may be experiencing distress, loneliness, or difficult life situations.
This thoughtful and informative session will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about how Samaritans support individuals in the community and how their services can be accessed.
About Southport Samaritans
Southport Samaritans are part of the wider Samaritans network, a charity dedicated to supporting people through difficult times by offering confidential emotional support.
Their trained volunteers are available to listen without judgement, providing people with the opportunity to talk about what they are going through in a safe and understanding environment. The charity works across communities to ensure that no one has to face their struggles alone.
Samaritans also play an important role in raising awareness around mental health, emotional wellbeing, and suicide prevention, helping people find hope and support during some of life’s most challenging moments.
