On Friday, 26th September 2025, we welcomed Joanne and Lindsey from Funeral Experts to lead a truly thoughtful and informative Community Wellbeing Session.
While end-of-life planning and bereavement can be difficult topics to approach, this session focused on removing the stigma, offering clear and compassionate guidance, and reminding us all that support is out there — and it’s free.
Joanne and Lindsey shared their professional expertise and personal insight, covering everything from funeral planning and benefit entitlements to bereavement paperwork, emotional support, and connecting with trusted local services. The session struck a perfect balance — practical without being clinical, and gentle without avoiding the reality of what many families face.
We were especially grateful to see new faces in the room and to hear how much attendees appreciated the open, friendly tone of the conversation. 💛
