We are pleased to share that Sefton Carers Centre will be joining us at Sefton Support Group for a new regular drop-in session starting on Thursday 30th April 2026, running from 12pm to 3pm.
This drop-in will then take place every 2 months and will offer local people the chance to connect with a well-known organisation that supports unpaid carers across Sefton.
Sefton Carers Centre provides a wide range of support for carers, including advice and guidance, emotional and practical support, carer assessments, welfare benefits help, and access to groups, workshops and activities. They also support carers with information on their rights and the services available to them.
For many people, caring for a family member, partner or friend can come with a lot of pressure, often without enough time to focus on their own wellbeing. This new drop-in is a chance to speak to somebody in a relaxed and welcoming setting, ask questions, and find out what support may be available.
Whether you already see yourself as a carer, or you are not quite sure if that word applies to you, you are welcome to come along and have a chat.
We are really pleased to be hosting this regular drop-in and helping more people in our community discover the support that is out there.
