We are pleased to share that Sefton@Work will be joining us at Sefton Support Group for a new regular monthly drop-in session, taking place on the last Thursday of each month from 12pm to 3pm.
These sessions will give local people the chance to speak with Sefton@Work in a relaxed and welcoming setting at our centre. The drop-in is open to members of the community who may be looking for support with work, training, education, CVs, job applications, or finding their next opportunity.
Sefton@Work offers free, confidential and impartial information, advice and guidance to Sefton residents over the age of 16 who are looking for help with employment, education, training, or self-employment. Their support includes one-to-one appointments, help with CVs, application forms and cover letters, information about local vacancies, pre-employment training, interview skills, and support with matching people’s skills to suitable opportunities.
For anyone who feels unsure about where to start, or who would simply like to talk through their options, this new drop-in is a chance to have an informal chat and find out what help may be available.
Whether you are looking for work, thinking about training, returning to employment after time away, or supporting someone else who may benefit from this kind of guidance, you are welcome to come along.
We are really pleased to be hosting Sefton@Work at Sefton Support Group and helping more people in our community access practical support, advice and opportunities close to home.
