We were pleased to welcome Bob and Phil from the Samaritans to our latest Community Wellbeing Session, where they delivered an informative and genuinely insightful talk about the vital support they provide to people in need.

The session gave attendees a clear understanding of how Samaritans offer a safe, non-judgemental space for individuals who may be struggling, feeling overwhelmed, or simply in need of someone to listen. Bob and Phil spoke openly about how their service works and the importance of being there for people during difficult moments in life.

One part of the session that really stood out was hearing how Samaritans support each other as volunteers. It’s something many people don’t often think about, but it highlighted just how important it is for those providing support to feel supported themselves.

The session was both informative and thought-provoking, helping to raise awareness of the work Samaritans do and the difference it can make in people’s lives.

We’d like to say a big thank you to Bob and Phil for taking the time to join us and share their experience with our community.
