We’re thrilled to share an update on our Community Wellbeing Sessions Project, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Since receiving this fantastic support, we’ve been busy behind the scenes preparing everything to ensure these sessions have a positive and lasting impact on our community.

What’s Happening Now?

Currently, we are working hard to finalise all the details for the project, which is set to begin in November (exact date to be confirmed). We are planning, and bringing together the right resources to make these sessions a place of connection, support, and growth for everyone involved.

What Are the Community Wellbeing Sessions?

Our Community Wellbeing Sessions aim to bring people together across Formby and surrounding areas, offering a space for individuals to connect, support one another, and improve their mental health in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

Bringing People Together: A space to meet fellow community members and build connections.
Reducing Loneliness: Helping combat isolation by fostering friendships and social bonds.
Peer Support for Mental Health: Share experiences and support one another in improving mental wellbeing.
Guest Speakers: Learn from a variety of experts covering different topics related to health, wellbeing, and community.
Time to Socialise: Relax, chat, and enjoy some refreshments with others in a supportive atmosphere.

These sessions are completely free to attend and are open to everyone!
Whether you’re looking to make new friends, get advice on managing your mental health, or simply spend some quality time in the community, these meetups are the perfect opportunity.

Stay Tuned for More Details

We’ll be announcing the official start date and more detailed session schedules soon, so keep an eye on our website and social media for updates. We can’t wait to welcome you all to the SSG Community Meetups and help support your health and wellbeing.

Remember, to take care of someone else, you need to care for yourself first.
